What a mind-blowing night!
You must be wondering what I’m talking about.

If you love fashion, then you must have heard about the Fashion Runway Show held at Alexandra Park, Auckland on the 11th August 2017. Miss Five Crowns NZ beauty pageant joined in a collaboration in order to raise funds and awareness for Youthline. All guests were welcomed by the friendly staff of Alexandra Park, received champagne on arrival, arriving to beautiful glamorous decorations, had a 3 course buffet meal, were in the draw for door prizes not to mention the lucky dip goody bags which were valued at $80.00 each. Horse racing, complimentary car park and a race book were a few other things to help a smooth night . What a night, however to start with we’ll give you a little background to this amazing platform:

Premiere International LTD launched its inaugural beauty pageant in 2016. The director of this organization – Pam Cummings, chose Youthline Charity to collaborate with and in helping with changing the lives of youth! She works hard to support young women in New Zealand to feel beautiful, build personal skills, be confident about themselves, be strong as well as stand up for their rights by using their voice against violence and bullying among other things. Stepping into a brighter secure future with bigger dreams while gaining further confidence and making a choice to do what one wants is a huge accomplishment for most. This performance platform pageant Empowers women & Encourages women to raise their self-esteem to become a humble successful woman. “Be Beautiful – Be Bold – Be Brave”

The show began with the Emcee Phillip Quay, who made everyone laugh and feel comfortable. New Zealand’s best fashion designers Tihi King, Boston and George show cased their collection and made the women shine on the runway in designer outfits for Youthline charity. Thanks to the makeup and hair stylist Cut Above Academy for supporting this pageant and making these wonderful young women enjoy their journey. The show would not have been possible without the supportive sponsors of Tranquillity Beauty & Spa, Mirabella Dresses, Thin Lizzy and Bunnings Warehouse.
